Terms & License

These terms cover the purchase and use of software from Araz Audio ("we", "us"), the trade name of José Luis Saavedra Villalobos, La Serena, Chile. By downloading, installing or using our software you agree to them.

1. Purchases

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices, taxes and payment are handled by Paddle under its own buyer terms.

2. License

When you buy a license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the software version you bought, and its free updates within the same major version, on the computers you personally own or use. You may not share your serial number, or let other people use the software under your license.

Studios and schools that need the software on computers used by several people should contact us at support@arazaudio.com.

3. Trial and NFR licenses

The trial version is fully functional for 30 days, for evaluation only. Not-for-resale (NFR) licenses are given free of charge for evaluation, review or promotion; they may not be sold or transferred.

4. Restrictions

You may not copy (except for backup), rent, lend, sell, sublicense, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, or remove or bypass its license protection, except where the law expressly allows it.

5. Ownership

The software, its sound, graphics, presets and documentation are the property of Araz Audio and are protected by copyright law. You buy a license to use the software, not the software itself. Audio you process with our software is entirely yours.

6. No warranty

The software is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or work with every system. Please use the trial to check that it works for you before buying.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Araz Audio is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from the use of the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

8. Trademarks

Pro Tools and AAX are trademarks of Avid Technology, Inc. VST is a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. Audio Units and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe sonic character; Araz Audio is not affiliated with them.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Chile, without prejudice to any consumer rights you have under the laws of your country.
